Miami Heat - 2006 NBA Champions!

The Miami Heat did it. They have earned the right to be called NBA Champions. Yesterday, the Miami Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks 95 to 92 to win the series 4-2. Haslem had an incredible game shooting 8 out 13 from the field for a total of 17 points. Mourning had 5 incredible block shots and also helped offensively with 8 points. Shaquille O'Neal had 9 points and Walker put up 14 points. It was definitely a team effort and the Miami Head has every right to be called the number one team in the NBA.

And then...

There was Dwayne Wade. The Head crowed has always yelled MPV...MVP...MVP and now their wish has been granted. Wade received the NBA finals MVP award after an incredible series. He helped the Miami Heat reach their ultimate goal and did it with great style. In the final game he scored 36 points, had 3 block shots, 4 steals, and 5 assists. He averaged 34.7 points per game in the NBA finals and the best part of all this is....it’s only his 3rd year in the NBA.

Tells us what you think of the New NBA Champions - Congratulations to the MIAMI HEAT!

Another amazing NBA Finals Game

Its early in the morning and I am dragging, but it was well worth it. The Miami Heat squeezed a win against the Dallas Mavericks for the third straight game 101 to 100. One of the most amazing games I've seen in a long time. Sunday's game 5 was very competitive from start to finish, neither team could get a comfortable lead. The Mavericks defense did a incredible job defending Wade in the first half who shot 1 for 5, but they couldn't keep him off the Foul line and pretty soon the "Flash" was once again on Fire!

Wade went on to score 43 points, 21 of those points being from the foul line. The question is can anybody stop Wade? Now that the tables are turned, it is up to the Mavericks to show that they can put out the fire in on Tuesday Night. Who will win the 2006 NBA Finals?

The Heat is back!

The Miami Heat did it. After starting out the series looking like an amateur team, the Miami Heat has shown some life. Yesterday the Miami Heat defeated the Dallas Mavericks 98-74 to tie the series at 2-2. Dwayne Wade was on fire and score 36 points. He has a 39 point average in the last two games, but he was not alone. Shaq scored 17 points, had 13 rebounds, and looked fresh running up and down the court. On the flip side, Dallas shot an embarrassing 32 percent (25 out 79) and Dirk Nowitzki made only 2 out of 14 shots. The big question is...Can the Heat keep the momentum going? What do you think will happen now in this series?
